Boiler upgrade, urgent

We have planned to have our 15 year old conventional gas boiler replaced with an efficient condensing type later this year but the plans have been spoilt by the the old one starting to leak in January.
I need to organise the boiler replacement quickly and am contacting a number of gas installers locally to see if I can get this done within the next week.
I know the boiler that I am interested in and the manufacturer states that it is the closest replacement for the one we have, so am thinking about ordering one online for immediate delivery.
The only issue that I have with this would be how it affects the warranty because it would need to be installed by a 3rd party. Also I would expect that the installer would want to source one themselves and add a big mark-up.
Is there any other flaw to my plan that I have no thought about ?

What is your existing boiler make & model & what make & model do you intend to replace it with ?I'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.

A reputable boiler manufacturer will honour their warranty as long as it is installed as per their instructions and commissioned by a registered gas safe engineer That's likely to include ensuring that the new boiler is fitted to a clean system
No reason why a fitter can't provide a fit only service for products provided by you0
