Post purchase docs

We completed on a new house purchase in December which turned out to be a bit of a slog due to an incompetent conveyancer on our side!

Since the completion we have received absolutely no documentation from said conveyancer other than a letter confirming the transaction has been completed. Is there any other documentation I should have expected to receive from him such as title deeds (or copy if they are sent to mortgage provider) or...and this is what I am after, a receipt that the stamp duty was paid?

As we have now sold our original property we are eligible to claim back the 3% however require the SDLT UTRN to do so. I have contacted his office to try get this but not had a response, I will be chasing it on Monday but just concerned there are other things he hasn't passed on :(

Thanks!

Title deeds are not paper any more. Electronic at Land Registry.

I usually get all the documentation through on my BTL 6-8 weeks after purchase. It contains copies of searches and loads more and just fits through the letterbox. Amongst it is a letter confirming title has been registered at land registry
It may sometimes seem like I can't spell, I can, I just can't type

If by "new house purchase" you mean a newbuild house, it will take longer than average to complete registration - so don't expect any Land Registry documents soon.

SDLT UTRN should be available though, perhaps not a standard thing for the solicitors to send out as most buyers don't have a need for it.
