Paking Eye fine

Options
I received a parking fine for 11/12/16 from Parking Eye. I appealed explaining that on that day neither machine was not working and the Morrison's shop assistant came out to review the situation and advised everyone to register their details at the customer service desk in store. I did this and also offered to pay for my ticket but was told this was not necessary. I assumed everything was ok but then got a fine for £100 a week ago. They have sent my appeal back saying I have to prove I made a purchase. I don't have a receipt from that date and don't think its reasonable to have been asked this given the error was with their faulty equipment and an evidently not very good system for managing in store when pay machines are broken. Ive written to the Morrisons store manager. Is there anything else I can do?

    It is not a fine.

Did you get a PoPLA code with your rejection? If so you need to construct a PoPLA and post it up here for the experts to revue before submitting it. Unfortunately you have given away the driver's identity which means you have thrown away a valuable appeal pint. All is not lost though.

Use the template appeal points fro the NEWBIES sticky thread, post 3 to create your PoPLA appeal.

Also, complain forcefully to the CEO of Morrisons who should get this cancelled for you.

You need to complain vigorously to Morrison's, and this is not a fine.

If thats the case then Morrisons agents, Parking eye did not have just cause to access your registered keeper data as you had done nothing wrong, as a result it could be argued that Morrisons are now in breach of the Data protection act as a result of their agents actions, which could prove costly for them

To help other posters from there, can you tell us the DATE and LOCATION of this Morrisons store when/where the machines were not working?

And, to get yours cancelled, simply email the 'do not reply' email shown in this thread:

It is VERY important to get this cancelled. Why not go in person with the offensive 'PCN' like that person did, and insist on a Manager cancelling it and don't leave until they have done so (do not just hand them to PCN to deal with later!). And send the email to M's Head Office too.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
