Delete your post and start again NOW! Despite saying that you have read the NEWBIES, and even put this in your original post, "I will be constructing any correspondence on behalf of my Mum as she naturally handed the fine to me (expecting me to just pay it, humph!) - I will of course avoid language that could be deemed admission or identifying in any correspondence I undertake" you have revealed who was driving!

I hope you haven't used your real name either. That really is the daftest way of admitting who was driving.

It is not a fine either.

Parking scammers read these fora and can identify the driver from a parking date/time, and a screen grab from here.

Only refer to The Driver and The Keeper who are two different people as far as this forum is concerned.

I have not looked at anything else as you need to correct your error first.

Appeal using IPC text from the newbies thread.

Then go into "ignore" mode unless you get a LBCCC or a Court claim - no point in appealing to IAS as that will fail.

Athena do not currently do court, though they'd have six years to bring a court claim.

Also edit your post as Fruitcake says.

I suppose I shouldn't be surprised any more at the number of people who post then don't check that they have had a reply. Perhaps they are not used to such a fast moving forum as this one.

  • Fruitcake I suppose I naively thought they wouldn't check these fora on company time. Thanks for the heads up - I'll delete the post and start again. Thanks.
