Evening all.
So far £1.50 on bus fare and that's it.
However must go to Sainsburys later for main shopping trip of the week and will be trying to keep it below £40 but there are several non food items to be bought  - they won't help keep it low.
I will do my best anyway - will update later if I can keep my eyes open..I'm cream crackered.Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.
Sainsburys Loan: Cleared July 2010
Credit cards: AMEX Airmiles Card: direct debit set to clear balance monthly

Hi, all.
I was really good last week only had the one emergency spend on dds eye drops.
As for today, well, what do I say. I spent £5.00 on rtc food items, not absolutely necessary, but hey ho, there's less than a week to go, and I think I can afford to treat my family to a delicious lemon cheesecake and cream. It is a genuine treat as we don't normally have pudding at all, and hubby's getting roast beef on his pieces for tomorrow.
Hope he doesn't get used to all this high living :rotfl:Official DFW Nerd Club - Member # 593 - Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts!0 -

They just feel higher, SC - probably because of all those birthday cards and pressies - your Ds has some lucky friends. :T :TI am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

 Good luck for tonight sweetie. I hope it's just a storm in a tea cup / male "time of the month" kind of thing, and it's all sorted out in no time. (Let us know, huh?)
Thanks it went very well. He's really trying and I think he genuinely does want to be with me he just feels bad because he still thinks of her and because she has depression he tries to be there for her when she needs him because he promised he would. I think it's fine for him to think of her as long as he doesn't want to be with her instead of me but speaking to her regularly is obviously messing with his head. He's going to go and see a counsellor to go through how he feels (he suggested this and I think it's a good idea) and he knows now that I would rather he didn't have contact with her (I never commented on the subject before) but I wouldn't stop him if he feels he has to. Thanks for the support. It's been a rough weekend but hopefully we've turned a corner.MFi3 member 105 - MFW date Oct 2023 - 12 years 9 months more0 -

 hey sweetie,
I'm glad it went Ok. It seesm like he's being very honest with you about his feelings - and no wonder he's confused if they're speaking regularly, and he feels an obligation to do that.
I went through something similar a long time ago with hubby, and eventually he came to see (with a little help from me) that trying to be friends with his ex and be a good guy was detrimental to our relationship and he gradually cut her off.
Here's hoping your fella comes to see the same thing quite quickly.
I'm glad you're feeling more optimistic cherub.
