 Afternoon my lovelies!
The pattern of my spending goes NSD, NSD, NSD, NSD, NSD NSD etc for quite some time interspersed with the occasional  SPLURGE!
And today's that fateful day!:p
I've bought My Year Without Shopping on eBay plus a Colour Confidence book to help me make the most of the wardrobe I've got, a Low Carb cookbook to help me with my diet. Plus a book about "Emotional vampires" cos someone recommended it to me.
Total Spend £25.33 but I've been tracking the books for weeks and this was the cheapest I've seen them. They're all designed to help me achieve my goals, and they were paid for with other things that I sold on eBay - so I'm not too angsty about it.
It's still a little embarrassing owning up to it on here though, with all those big scary numbers in my sig!

I'm going to the pub for crisis talks with BF/exBF (I'm not really sure which, hopefully the former). He's had a bit of a crisis of confidence (because he still thinks about his ex) and broken up with me then said he's an idiot and he's wrong and wants us to stay together. I'm cautiously hopeful but the need for a neutral location means some expenditure sadly so no NSD for me. Wish me luck.MFi3 member 105 - MFW date Oct 2023 - 12 years 9 months more0

It's not ALWAYS about not spending - it's about UNNECESSARY spending - and it looks as though you got a bargain anyway. :T :T
So no embarrassment - those figures will soon disappear and your books are going to help you reduce your long-term spending, so look at it as an 'Investment'.:) :beer:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. Good luck for tonight sweetie. I hope it's just a storm in a tea cup / male "time of the month" kind of thing, and it's all sorted out in no time. (Let us know, huh?)

 I like that way of looking at it honeybun!:A
All of the books are an investment in my future in one way or another, so I'll try to look at it like that and not like this:
Cheers for that sweetie! MUCH appreciated. (I'm even smiling about it now!)
Btw, any sign of PAP yet???
