My place gets an airing even then - the cats insist I open the windows repeatedly so they can sit disgusted and decide they're not going out.
Dexter has to try each one - just to make sure it's raining all around the house :rotfl:That sounds like a classic case of premature extrapolation.

I think if there are that many adults living in the house then a good way forward for you all may be a rota. Let's say there are four adults and two ideal drying spaces then rotate their use between the adults giving each user lets say 48 hours use forndrging in this weather.
Alternatively (and this is how I would run my house if I had that many adults) make a rota of what gets washed when and do some communal laundry i.e. Everyone's darks on a Saturday, everyone's whites on a Sunday, everyone's underwear on a Monday etc. That way you will not only probably reduce the amount of laundry loads being done, you can all make use of the good drying spaces at the same time."More people would learn from their mistakes if they weren't so busy denying them." - Harold J. I just wanted to say how PO'd I am about having to dry my clothes indoors this afternoon. There was a gale last night, then it poured down this morning, and whilst it's sunny now my back garden is cold, damp and devoid of any breeze. However little the clothes dried earlier they are only going to get damper outside now. So the heatings on full blast and my heated aired is on too. I can't imagine how families manage without a tumble dryer!
