Had a acceptable quote for replacement upvc windows but have never heard of the manufacturer.
Halo system 10. any good?

I did a quick search - no good or bad indications. The name Everest came up near the top of the search results.

When I was checking out UPVC windows, years ago, I was told that there are only two actual manufacturers of windows in the UK. A bit like white goods (washing machines and the like) - lots of product names and styles but few actual manufacturers.

Not sure if that's still the case.

We would only fit one of these Rehau, profile 22, kommerling ,veka all equally as good we have been installing profile 22 now for 7 years

Yeah it's not bad. It's how well they are fitted by the installer which is more important.
