It sounds like a sensible decision for you to stay put at the moment. A few good fans, an open window and a bottle of frozen water in front of the fan can work wonders.

April 2020 Debt Totals - £13,114.86
It's been ages since I posted debt totals and I thought that since I've repaid some and restructured others that it's a good opportunity to pop some figures up.

Some great solid thinking in that post with the update GC- yes, now isn't the time to be thinking about a house move although I will say don't rule it out for a little later in the year - the housing market might look quite interesting at the other side of this, I suspect.
Also fantastic work getting everything on to 0% now as well - that must feel brilliant!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Also fantastic work getting everything on to 0% now as well - that must feel brilliant! The fans arrived today, we’ll be assembling them this evening. I’ve got to venture out to the supermarket tomorrow for essentials but the social distancing measures seem to be deterring the curiosity shoppers so it shouldn’t be too bad.3 -
Yes - we're trying to establish the best times to go now as people seem to be spreading things out across the day a lot more than they were. We needed odds and ends last night so walked through to Tesco - no queue to get in, not many in store (we were even allowed to go in together which felt delightfully normal!) but the queue for the checkouts took longer as of course less open in the evening - although we did realise too late that there is also a second queue for those who just had a basket which we could have used!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

EH, the shops close to us have really calmed down this week. There are queues outside but that is due to the social distancing measures in the stores, so once I get in it is a much better experience. Long may it continue!
Naomi - the weather has been so warm the last few days, it is really at the max of what we can tolerate in our flat without fans or aircon so I'm really glad that we did buy them already! I'm really pleased with the fans we ordered (the pedestal fan was less than half price on Amazon because it had some "minor cosmetic damage" but I really can't see where the damage is, so very happy with that!) and we also ordered a couple of usb fans that can plug into our laptops for when we are working. I think these ones will have the added benefit of giving a bit of a music video feel if I'm on a Webex - haha!
The last thing on our list is to get some of that mirrored film stuff for our living room windows to bring down the temperature a bit more.3 -
