It's difficulty, but the few times we bought and sold years ago, though it limits markets, we only sodl to cash buyers or buyers with no chain. Since the 2008, I've had to live in a rented property but we are on the way back up.
Many buyers are time wasters, and ones with a chain, the chain may invole 10 to 20 other people. So are even more nasty, keep yo waiting and then at the exchange of contracts threaen to pull out if you don't lower the price.
I've heard a rumour that an agent where I used to live years ago had a couple of fake viewers to keep the sellers on their books.
Buying and selling is a nightmare especially if a chain is involved.0 -

Update - the sellers have just pulled out again saying that they cannot find anything they like so they are going to stay where they are.
If they did come back again then we will tell them to rebuild the wall where the door is between the flats so that they are two self contained flats before we consider an offer. Or stuff them.0
