Car ins renewal but moving house

I once parked outside my house instead of my rear driveway, I never expected it to be driven into and written off.

I assume insurance company still covered it? surely they cannot expect you to keep your car on your driveway every single night. especially since they only let you select one option when you get the insurance quote.


I park on my drive 80% of the time, round the corner on street 20% of the time, but I can only select one option when making a quote. If someone crashed into me while my car was parked on the street at night, could the insurance company refuse to cover it?

As it has a direct correlation to the claim they could potentially refuse it
