Fixing garage roof

3 ridge tiles have blown off my garage roof. I'm not very good at DIY but basically just want to patch this up so it's reasonable and keeps the water out. Any ideas/suggestions? I'm not sure what the roof is made of.
Thanks in advance!

If you are not good at DIY employ a roofer. Bread and Butter job -, £100/200 well spent.Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0

I don't want to pay £200 to replace three tiles when I'm happy with a patched up job.0

A patched up job probably won't last very long; this is one of those occasions where it's normally cheaper to do it properly the first time.0

If you really want to go down that route a couple of tubes of sticks like would do it.0

Do you have insurance that might cover some or all of the cost?0

I'm moving house so I don't need it to last forever, just be passable. Was the tube of sticks some form of poor joke or is that some slang DIY term for a product (that isn't sticks!)?

I think the suggestion was to go and get a couple of tubes of No Nails or Grip Fill and fix the ridge tiles back in place with it. A quick & dirty fix...Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

TRB was referring to this product:

Having bought a house where a number of things were taken care of by quick fixes, I feel sorry for the next person who will have to pay to do it properly.garybarlowsbeard wrote: »I'm moving house so I don't need it to last forever, just be passable.
