Alpha Boilers - Buyers Be Aware

An Alpha Boiler was installed in one of our investment properties, it was selected and installed by the tradesmen I was using at the time (installed on 28th February 2013 and the warranty expired on 27th February 2015).
I’m sorry, but you don’t expect to conduct a major repair (replacement of fan) after just a few years of installation, worst still it happened nearly a couple of years after the warranty expired.
What was also very disconcerting, the Gas Engineer whom I work with regularly and whom I initially requested to carry out the repair, encountered on two separate occasions faulty parts. Thus he had to go to the property 3 times (first to diagnose the problem) to attempt the repair. In the end he recommended I use Alpha to do the repair because they would have to guarantee the repair, which cost £296.00.
Due to our recent negative experience with the Alpha Boiler products, both my tradesman and I suggest potential buyers need be to aware, we can would not recommend the products.
