My daughter received a notice to keeper regarding an unpaid parking charge notice for the 7th December 2016 at 9.31 a.m. This was to inform her that as she had not paid the notice the charges were now £74. She had parked over night from 8pm as she was working a night shift in the Emergency Dept and paid for a 12 hour ticket to take her to 8 am the following morning. However during her shift she was informed that her 6 month old niece had been brought in with bronchilitis - she had been born 3 months prematurely.- After her shift she went to the ward to allow her sister in law to go home for an hour to shower and see the other children. When she returned to her car at about 10 there was no ticket on the car and she drove home. Obviously had she received a PCN she would have contacted Indigo with mitigating circumstances. My question is what should she do next?
