House put back on market after offer accepted
Comments
-
We put in an offer on a house that was accepted a couple of weeks ago. We instructed our solicitors to proceed once the offer was accepted. We now also have a mortgage offer in place. We have also payed search fees and had the valuation done on the house.
I was annoyed to see the house put back up on rightmove without SSC. I phoned the estate agents and they said they are within their rights to do this once they have sent out the memo of sale to us. They have said they will not accept any more viewings on the property but it will remain on rightmove.
Any suggestions?
Can you clarify - does it only appear on rightmove if you tick the "include SSTC box". If it's appearing without checking that box, it's they're likely doing it at the vendors request. The agent just want their fees now.
I'd walk away now if they were messing me around. Cut you're losses."Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance" - Confucius0 -
Hi
When a property is sold, usually after a couple of days we would ask to have the property as 'Under offer' when solicitors contacts made it will show as Sold subject to contract.' - it is not in the estate agents interest to mess around a buyer as they only get money once the sale is completed0
