PC losing internet connection

As above, my PC is constantly dropping its wireless connection. All other devices connected (TV, ipads, phones, computer) don't have the issue.
I have tried updating drivers but no change, the only thing that works is Troubleshoot Problems which resets the wireless adapter. I've copied the log below, the internet provider is Wimax (an in Spain), computer name ALI and I'm using a Dell PC with Windows 10 Pro.
Would be grateful for any advice. Thanks.
Bear with me, editing it down!

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

I'd try turning off the PC, rebooting the router, then wait a few minutes and turn on the PC again.
Have you always had problems with the PC's connection? Obviously it could be due to a weak signal and/or low gain aerial on the wifi adapter. Assuming it's a desktop PC, it would be more reliable to use an Ethernet cable rather than wifi.0 -
Tricky. One possibility is dodgy driver [FONT="]Dell Wireless 1704 [FONT="](other[FONT="]wise known as DW1704) - various reports online. Get WIFI analyzer or similar and see how much traffic is on your channel. Try changing channels.

Dell quote...
"Dell Wireless 1704 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth4.0 Driver
This package provides Dell DW1704 802.11 b/g/n Bluetooth4.0 Driver and is supported on XPS 8700 running the following Windows Operating systems: Windows 8.1."
So it seems to be a crossover/corruption in the driver/config files.
As suggested above, purge the adapter and its files whilst using a cable connection and reboot and re-install.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Thanks johndough and David, a lot for a non-techie like me to take in but I'll try as you've suggested. Unlikely to be sleep mode I'd have thought though as it can stay on for hours then cut out three times in ten minutesA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
