Yodel tops list of WORST parcel delivery firms (again)

I'm actually put off ordering from a company if i know Yodel are the delivery firm.
I used to do the wine deals from Asda but never again just because of Yodel.
One order was apparently delivered (only because I checked online I knew this) except someone was home all day and no card through the door. I had to call them to ask where my parcel was, to which I got fobbed off with "check the card" or "check with your neighbours" really helpful!
In the end I knocked on 7 neighbours doors closest to me, none of which had my wine, after about a week of arguing with Asda/Yodel I finally found out my parcel was delivered to someone else the other side of my estate. Funnily enough as it was obviously a case of wine they made no attempt to bring it to me which makes me think it was someone probably known to the driver.
Anyway I stupidly placed another order a few months later thinking I couldn't have the same problems. On the day of delivery I suddenly got an email saying there was a problem. I called them but they wouldn't tell me what the issue was and told me to phone Asda. Asda said they had no idea and told me to call back a few days later. I did to be told the wine had been smashed (or stolen no doubt) but Asda would send me a replacement. I told them not to bother, refund me and told them Yodel were more hassle than the wine was worth. I haven't ordered from them again since.0 -
How can collect plus be better than yodel, its the same company and even barcode. You just don't have the yodel badge on the label, same van, same depot think these surveys are flawedDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

A Yodel van turned around on my garden, smashed into my house, and caused £350 worth of damage to my roof. They weren't even delivering to me... Yodel are ignoring me... Despite photographic evidence.
I took out a small claims court summons against them for the cost. They still ignored me. I HAD to get the hole in my roof fixed, so I gave up. I said to Yodel, 'I'll pay the £350. You just pay the £35 court fee.' They ignored me...
What can you do with people like this?
I was dropping the court claim, but now it stands...

One thing I can absolutely count on, if the retailer chooses Yodel, the parcel will never be delivered on time. Why is this ? Yodel drivers do not like delivering to blocks of flats, depot managers allow drivers to get away with blue murder, drivers say they've attempted delivery when they've never been anywhere near the building. If your retailer uses Yodel couriers, look elsewhere. You would imagine this company would attempt to improve their standing in the polls, but they just get worse every year, frankly I hope Yodel go bust.0

Yodel is the company of lazy and lies people.
1. The lazy drivers did not come to my house, but informed the company that "We tried to deliver your parcel but couldn't access your property." I was at home all-time and nobody came. It was a very important parcel so, I had waited and missed all my businesses.2. This company really doesn't want to speak - web chat only.3. I didn't ask them, but they yourself changed the delivery option to collect from the depot myself.4. I asked to speak to the manager, but it impossible. Also, I asked callback - nobody contacts me.
5. I never see any problem with other delivery companies - they could find my address or deliver my parcel via my neighbours.0
