D&g domestic & general protection plans

I stumbled across this on a money saving/budgeting facebook group. I have been paying for an extended warranty type plan on my Indesit washing machine for five years or so, without making any claim for breakdowns at all. Yes, the machine has become very noisy of late and there is a big streaky rusty area around and under the soap drawer. I rang D&G to ask if the plan covered this rust and mentioned the racket the machine was now making. After a bit of huffing/puffing I was told it wasn't covered for rust and as the washer hadn't actually broken down they weren't interested.
I searched for info online re these D&G protection plans and found that for every £1 you have paid into these plans for Hotpoint/Indesit appliances - possibly other makes too, earns the equivalent in rewards, to be spent towards NEW appliances, including washers, washer-dryers, cookers, etc. Hotpoint/Whirlpool/Indesit goods advertised on the Hotpoint website.

Found I had almost £350 available to me via Rewards! They were due to expire this year and I knew nothing about them! The link is here. You will need your Plan No - which may be found on your Bank Statements (DD ref. No) and your postcode.
