Hi! I would really love to get a go pro preferably with a screen on it, I have seen a hero + on amazon for £179.99 would this be a good price? Im a bit confused with all the different versions, all I really want it for is to take videos of my kids in sea/pool etc, and maybe try it on rides when in disneyland! Thanks so much for any help or advice

the only go pro with a screen is the hero 5 which is £349.99. you are probably looking at the entry level go pro which would do the job but just without viewing screen, video stabilisation and voice control. voice control would probably be pretty useless in water and on fairground rides"The Holy Writ of Gloucester Rugby Club demands: first, that the forwards shall win the ball; second, that the forwards shall keep the ball; and third, the backs shall buy the beer." - Doug Ibbotson0

Does it have to be a GoPro?
I've had a SJCam M10 for a couple of years now which I use for skiing, cycling etc.
Around £50 including all of the attachments which GoPro charge you more for.
Picture quality is not quite as good as the GoPro but is pretty good.
SJCam are a Chinese company who started off by making a fake GoPro. It was so good that other companies started faking the SJCam (there are plenty of web sites out there which tell you how to check for a fake one).0 -
Not a GoPro, but there's this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XwBpP-ORsog0

SJ4000 is not a bad compromise if your just testing the water. Oddly the size and shape resembles a gopro but im sure the Chinese couurts would disagree

Its not upto a GoPro specs though. But good value. I know a few that have turned to them where there is a risk of damaging itCensorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
