Changes to Lease After Signing

We used a realtor to help us find a second floor apartment in an area we do not know well. I think this was all miscommunication between the realtor and landlord but when we saw the apartment, it had a huge walk up attic which we loved. We signed the lease and then the next day the realtor tells us that even though it's not in the lease, the landlord forgot to mention that he wants to lock the attic and that we also have to pay for water (which was not in the lease as a utility we need to pay).
We told the realtor this doesn't seem fair and she's going to talk to the landlord but what's my best course of action here?

This is a UK based site and your terms suggest USA, so you're unlikely to get decent answers regarding US law here
If it's anything like here, you probably can't force the landlord to include things he doesn't want, but he also can't force you to rent an apartment without the things included in the lease you signed.0 -

Ask for advice in a country where you are based rather than one where there is no such thing as a realtor ? I could guess at US ( or is it Canadian ) law not binding you to things that you haven't signed, but that would seem pointless as maybe it needs to be countersigned, or who knows what, to be agreed.0
