Question on house sell after 2 deaths

I'll try not to bore you with the details just trying to see where my nan stands legally on this situation.
Great nan O - Died last year, left half her house to my Grandad O + his sister. Her only 2 children and all goes to them.
6 months later my Grandad O dies - only 68, cancer and unexpected to a degree, leaves everything to my nan.
The house wasn't sold because Grandads sister (very very well off woman) wasn't interested in selling the house straight away and he wasn't well enough to keep flying over to make it more modern and remove furniture so he took it off the market after a 2 months.
Nan and grandad have updated their wills last year but this was before the death of Great nan O.
Is nan entilted to half of my great nans house?
Boring bits..
My nan will be ok, financially, regardless, but I hate to see her worrying. She owns her own home and the car ect, but as is common of that age group the women never worked and nan has absolutely no idea how to continue from here.
We have sorted out the basics and bills and so on, My nan relies quite heavily on me now for these things (I don't mind) but tbh I'm clueless on this subject in particular.
She has plenty enough money to see her through so i have calmed her mostly, but as she has never had to deal with any finances things she is now panicked.
I personally believe she should be entitled to half - but this is just morally. Legally, I've no idea, so thought I'd come for some advice.

It would depend how they inherited the property and agreed to own it (tenants in common or joint tenants). If it's the first then your granddad could leave his share to who ever he wanted. If it's the latter then his share will pass automatically to his sister.
As the death of your great nan was recent, if the estate was dealt with properly then the Land Registry should have been updated (transferring the ownership would have triggered first registration if the property was unregistered). It is therefore simply a case of getting the title document and seeing how it was owned (the register costs £3).0 -
Regarding the property alone it is important to check if it is registered and if so to whom. That will help unravel what happens next re the property depending on how the executor(s)/beneficiaries want the legal ownership delat with. You can check the register if it is registered online for £3
The register can also assist with understanding whether it was held as joint tenants or tenants in common but it is not definitive on this point. As you already appreciate wills can also come into play especially if they made arrangements for one half to go to X and the other half to Y.
If you already have the details of the wills and probate then add the register details to the mix and you should be able to sort things through re the property.
Your question was though where does your nan stand legally and that will rely on how the legal ownership has passed from Great Nan O through the family based on probate/wills/inheritance. Once you have checked the registered details (or unregistered deeds) it might be prudent to post the outcome to understand the specifics. I must profess I find it difficult to follow the family references here.“Official Company Representative
