Hi All,
I'm one for reading stickies and absorbing as much information on new topics that are relevant to me but my word is there a ton of information on this forum. I don't know my POPLA from my IPC.
In a nutshell, I parked in a private permit holders only car park last week but on arrival in the morning the car park was pitch black with no lighting, therefore I failed to recognise I shouldn't park there.
Fast forward to today and I received a letter (note there was no windscreen ticket) stating that I "owe" £100!
Now, where do I start, which template do I proceed to use? Will a "lack of lighting" claim suffice?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

This isn't rocket science, but by the same token it's not painting by numbers. Everything you read/research should now be in the context of the IPC/IAS. The BPA/POPLA have no relevance to your case. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
