I'd pay the £10 to get it cancelled and remove the threat (because Excel WILL sue) then read up on YOU suing under the DPA, no risk except a £25 MCOL fee which you claim back with your £250 if you win. No-brainer.

No rush re the claim you might make, you have up to six years to do that!

Honestly, I advise paying the tenner as offered, marking it as 'full and final settlement'. How can you pay? I would be wary of posting a cheque as they might pretend it arrived too late. Pay in a way that kills it immediately and can't be denied.

    Then plot your £250 revenge.*

*NB - warning to newbies - not ALL cases are suitable. You would need grounds to show unreasonable data processing.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

it might not say COFFEE on the wifes mug , but if it looks like coffee , smells like coffee , and tastes like coffee , guess what ??

yep , its coffee , and if she paid for it she would have received an invoice , even if its says bill , billet , la factura , or whatever

trust me , its an invoice that was received in the post from the parking company

So am I right the the advice here is pay it ? or not.
Looking for advice on what to do.

despite your misgivings , either PAY IT or argue your case before a judge when EXCEL issue an MCOL ( ie:- when they sue for the full amount)

its an invoice for NOT DISPLAYING THE PAID FOR TICKET CORRECTLY

YES PAY £10 is much easier to pay than months of reading and writing letters and court defenses id would jump on it. Just make sure its in full and final settlement. See if you can pay with a credit/debit card and just get it over and done with. This really ain't worth going to court over in my opinion.

You don't really want their so called incompetent legal bunch BWLegal contacting you.

    REMEMBER
    IN FULL AND FINAL SETTLEMENT

Already answered - are you not interested in the £250 claim for compensation that you may have afterwards? Of course pay a tenner to kill their claim, then build yours!

I disagree, do not pay, go to court where according to recent hearings, judges are finding for the motorist in flipped tickets.

It is a gamble, but the odds are probably in your favour. If you win you may end up a few pounds to the good, but the PPC will have to cough up £300 - £400.
