Flight problem easyjet

Asking on behalf of my daughter. Booked tickets with easyjet internal flights UK for a family event. Now Unavoidable work change means can't make event. Easyjet want to charge £25 to cancel flights or £68 to cancel and rebook...what would happen if she just didn't check in on the day would they charge her then ?

£25 to cancel them seems odd?

Just don't turn up on the day. easyJet won't care and there'll be no further action from them.

no they wouldn't charge her, but obviously she would lose what she's already paid for her flights.
  • Easyjet don't charge to cancel flights, the exception being when they are cancelled within 24 hrs of booking, when you receive a full refund less £25.

What that means is that she gets a refund of the money she paid minus the fee. If she simply does not turn up for the flight then there is no refund, and no fee.

I hope that her work are paying for the wasted flights.

Your daughter is confused about something. Assuming it is more than 24 hours since she booked, there is no charge to cancel and no refund either (aside from APD which easyJet refunds without charge). If she's more than 60 days away from her flight, the cost to change a return booking is £30 (+ difference in fare), if she's less it's £60 (+ difference in fare).
