Disqus and Main Site

Hi guys. May seem like an obvious question... but why can't I post on main site using this log in? Seems I have to use other social media log in (er nooo) or sign up with Disqus......

I would expect that it's because they have separate login systems. I've never tried to post anything on the main site and have no knowledge of the login requirements (and I've never heard of Disqus).0

You find Disqus on loads of websites for discussion purposes. As guessed by agrinnall, they have a separate login as they are just a service the main site uses.
