Email default

When I click on someones email on a website nothing happens. I have to copy the email address, go to my email, click on "New" and paste the address in then write my email.

I use Hotmail, what I want is to click on the email link and it open a new email for me to send.

What do I need to do?

Stop using Hotmail and get yourself an account that can use an e-mail client on your PC.

What do I need to do?

From the Tools menu in Internet Explorer, select Internet Options.
Click the Programs tab
Under Email see if you have the option for Hotmail or Live mail.

I'm not sure if the Hotmail/Live mail is there by default on Windows or if something like Live Messenger adds it there. Just know it's always present on computers I use.
