under notice of redundancy

ive just been put under notice of redundancy - 30 days as I am the only person at risk/ in the role. ive been there 3 years one month from now (the day my consultation period ends).
my questions are I understand I will receive my redundancy payment plus my months pay (30 days consultancy period) - will I also receive a months notice period?
second question will they have to pay me my settlement figures as though I stay to the end of the consultancy period even if I go early? I have another job that I can start if I want to but I also need to balance the ££ to make sure im not out of pocket.
many thanks in advance

Keep your new job quiet from everyone unless you know your employer pays out anyway.
Have you been given notice your contract is being terminated by reason of redundancy or are you just at risk in consultation?0 -
no it says consultation period for redundancy starts today - 30 days in total. first consultation meeting is a week today0

You are not redundant yet.
engage in the consultation.
Have they given any indication what process they will follow at the end of consultation?
work notice, garden leave, PILON or something else
Have they outlined the payment proposals?
If you resign they don't have to pay anything.
if you want to hang around read up about counter notice.0 -
they haven't told me anything other than the company is in trouble financially and they have assessed that my position is financially untenable for the company. I have my first consultation meeting next week to suggest ways to make my position less financially onerous to the to the company - I assume by this they mean that I take a pay cut or cut to my terms/ conditions / commissions. it has been made clear there are no other positions suitable for me at the company.
I will go to the meeting and not mention anything about alternative employment and take it from there. I will probably come back and ask more questions once that meeting has taken place
thank you for your help0
