Whether you’re an avid Ovid fan or are Shaw that George Bernard is your favourite, you’ll want to see the new production of Pygmalion at West Yorkshire Playhouse. More than a century after it first flowed from Bernard Shaw’s pen, this radical new reimagining of the theatrical classic places Eliza Doolittle in a digital world where identities can be transformed with the click of a mouse button. Sam Pritchard’s new staging probes class identity and social mobility in Britain today, asking how much our voices still define who we are. The production opens at West Yorkshire Playhouse on 4 February, and runs until 25 February. We have two tickets to the opening night worth £60 to give away to one Living North reader.

Tickets valid only for the Saturday 4 February performance at 7:45pm.
