I appreciate the point you're making and whilst it wouldn't affect the general Clubcard scheme I'd imagine we'd hear something because there are bound to be customer queries.

I also hold two credit cards with Tesco Bank and have received no communication to suggest otherwise.

The could only drop it on new applications (without notice)

As with any t&c change, they'd need to give appropriate notice to existing holders anyway. The stores wouldn't necessarily get a heads up beforehand.

I'm sceptical. They've been advertising quite heavily recently (a special offer on headforpoints for instance). Why bother if you're about to withdraw?

Hi everyone,

We've checked this out with our contact at Tesco Bank and there are no imminent plans to cut the Clubcard points offering on the Tesco credit card.

We'll certainly update if we hear anything different.
