So GDP is on average flat.....?
Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.

Are there any regional figures published anywhere rather than a "whole UK" figure?

or we could abandon the group think that assumes unending population growth is a good thing and work for a world with fewer people, less polution, less poverty etc

    It's not groupthink but biology.

You've got children? If so you're not walking the talk.

And if you're somehow missing the biological imperative to reproduce your viewpoint can be reasonably discounted.

If a woman has 1 or 2 children then she's reproducing at below replacement rate. In a country like the UK about 2.1 is replacement.

GDP increased by 0.6%, 'flat' would be 0 growth, it's the same rate of growth though as the previous three months.

Insects are the future. They're far more efficient at turning vegetation into edible protein than any of our animal protein sources.

Yes agreed, the British Tigers will be milking Goats for artisan cheese, and then returning home for woodlouse risotto

Lets show the world what economic nationalism is all about

Are we going to get rid of you and your children first? or do we just sterilize you and them and let time do the rest?

easy to spout out against "group think" but any practical solutions that you can be part of?

Attracting grown fit adults which another country has paid to rear to work in the UK is free money for Blighty, hence why immigration makes counties richer and migration makes countries poorer as they lose able bodies.

The trick to reducing population is to make sure every women in the world that wants the 'rod' can have it.

You can have your national cake and eat it globally. We don't need to worry about growing all our own advocados because luckily the global market place means Johnny Foreigner accepts things like computer code, fighter planes or other interesting-to-produce products for Avacados. The bonus is we don't have to spend our life growing avacados.

Encouraging the rod for Claptons mrs is probably a good idea as well.
Proudly voted remain. A global union of countries is the only way to commit global capital to the rule of law.
