I was in my daughter's car and parked in a disabled bay at a FREE car park. I forgot to put my blue badge in the window. It is almost 28 days ago. I would appreciate it if someone can help with this, I've tried going through the info but can't make head nor tail of it all! :eek:How do I post a pic of the ticket? Cant figure that either! :rotfl:

Total car park management. PO box 7015 Walsall WS1 9QD0

It says
The vehicle was parked on private property in a manner where the driver agreed to pay a parking charge as displayed on the signage. Notice of the charge having been clearly displayed on the signage in and around the site. The period of parking to which this charge relates is the period immediately preceding the 'time of issue' above.
A parking charge of £100 is due within 28 days of this issue.
Then follows an offer to pay £60 within 14 days.
Issue reason 0010 Parking in a disabled bay without clearly displaying a valid disabled badge.
Its a FREE car park!0 -
its a FREE private car park , where you should comply with the signage , but didnt
however, its not the BB that applies on this private car park , its the Equality Act 2010
but that may not wash at the early stages , so decide which AOS the ppc is in , BPA or AOS and use the appropriate template to appeal from the NEWBIES sticky thread
add a line that says AN OCCUPANT OF THE VEHICLE IS COVERED BY THE EA2010 AND A COPY OF THEIR VALID BLUE BADGE IS ENCLOSED
do not disclose who was driving , then see what they come back with
ALSO, complain to the landholder and mention the EA2010 and INSIST on a cancelletion , this is your BEST OPTION to get this knocked on the head0 -

Thank you RedX, can you tell me what this means.

And how would I say the EA applies to not displaying my bb? I had trouble getting out of the car, nearly fell and clean forgot the badge.0 -

most of the acronyms are explained in the NEWBIES sticky thread and there are only 2 trade bodies , the BPA and the IPC
and the EA2010 does not apply to how you explain the lack of showing a BB, you dont even go there at all
the EA2010 applies to you as a BB holder , due to your illness or disablement , so the law (the EA2010) details things like "reasonable adjustment" , so its how the PPC and the landholder are breaking or fliouting the EA2010 that you latch onto , as the EA2010 says nothing about displaying a BB , but you were using that space under the auspices of the EA2010 , which is whyt they are provided
so scanning the BB and adding to your appeal , without giving away the drivers details , should , in theory , make them cancel it (but as they flout the law , they probably wont cancel it) - but you do it ANYWAY , in case it goes before a judge in the future , or in a counter claim that you may bring0 -
They are members of the IPC, I found the template for appeal Thank you0

excellent , bear in mind this is 99.9% sure to be turned down , but do it anyway , without naming the driver
then ignore the muppets, but complain STRONGLY to the landholder and threaten them with possible court action under the EA2010 if they faiul to get it cancelled
this last option is your BEST OPTION to get rid of this invoice once and for all, so please do as I say , because the PPC wont care, they just want your money for a moments thoughtlessness0
