PCN repetition

Options
I'm off to check the signage in a housing authority car park but while I'm away a quick question please. Daughter-in-law (ex) lives in a housing authority house which has an allocated space. Occupiers are also able to park outside their house which many do. Occupier is allowed 1 pass for guests who should use the space and display the pass. Housing authority can confirm that the pass was in force so the 'offence' is 'not displaying'. Son was parked in the space overnight to see his daughter but did not have the pass displayed. Was given a PCN for the 7th (arrival) and 8th(he hadn't left by the time the warden wandered round) His argument is that the space is allocated to the house so why does he have to display anyway. Thus I'm going to check signage. Any advice on best response please.
Thanks

Instead of checking signs, check the lease to see if you even need a permit in the first place.

Further to the above, if your leaser/rental/freehold states you have use a a car parking space, it doesnt matter what any poxy signage placed by some shoddy two bit parking company says.

And in addition to that, if the lease is clear you should tell the management company that you will not be displaying a permit, as you have no requirement to do so, and that if their agents ( the parking company ) obtain your data you may seek damages from the management company for a breach of the data protection act and your time/expenses in dealing with the agents of the management company.

So the big question is what does the lease say, even if nothing is said that will be of use.

Good planned argument except DO NOT say who was driving! Never appeal as driver. Read the NEWBIES thread at the top of this forum for a template registered keeper appeal he can adapt (if he is the keeper). Also read this summary:

    http://parking-prankster.blogspot.co.uk/2016/11/residential-parking.html

Who is the parking firm, not Wing Parking is it? If so it's a 3 stage appeal ending in a POPLA win if the driver is not admitted.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
