Hi,
We will be arriving Katowice airport at about 5pm in a few days time.
Was planning to book Wizzair shuttle bus to Krakow but we left it too late so they don't accept online booking anymore.
Besides Wizzair shuttle bus, what other means can we take from Katowice Airport to Krakow?
I understand that if we are to take the train, we have to take a taxi or bus from the airport to go to the train station. But what is the name of the train station nearest to the airport?
Any info will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

You can just pay on the coach for the transfer to Krakow, it is only a few zloty more. I think you can phone to see if there are any spaces, although they won't reserve one for you.
You should be able to get a taxi fairly easily too, but I just googled it and loads of site came up offering pre-booking. This was the first on the list http://www.krakowshuttle.com/katowice_airport_transfer.html you can probably get it cheaper than that.
Also check with your accomodation, many of them do deals on airport transfers.
I don't know what the train station is called, but there in an information booth in the airport and they will tell you how to get to the station. When I had my loft converted back into a loft, the neighbours came around and scoffed, and called me retro.0 -
Thanks, I will try to call the coach company to see if there are still seats to go to Krakow.
Don't think we will take a taxi as there is only the two of us so seems too expensive.0 -

Thanks everyone.
I finally called the Coach company direct, and they reserved the seats as well as taking credit card payment so there is no extra charge.
