Paying off Amex with Tesco debit card

I recently opened a Tesco current account, on advice from this forum, to use as a savings account. Glad I did it.
I didn't consider using it for anything else as I'm happy with First Direct - but they pay 1 Clubcard point for every £8 spent with the debit card. Does anyone use a Tesco debit card to pay off their credit card bill?
300 Clubcard points every month just for paying off my Amex seems a bit too good to be true

IIRC the Tesco debit card doesn't pay Clubcard points on transactions to other financial companies or gambling businesses.0
