    The answer would to an extent depend on how much you have available to save each month, and whether you are happy to tie it up for 12 months.

    Monthly savers offer the best rates at present, but amounts you can pay in are limited to around £300-400 per month, some are only £250.

    Otherwise you have Tesco and TSB current accounts on 3% as above, and BOS also pay 3% but need 2 DDs.

    Use one that gives what you need at the moment,
    then switch for something better later.

    It's not as if you are getting married to a bank ?
    OH's sometimes cost more !
