Big Switch 6 ??
Please help my current fix is coming to an end and I had previously read the best way of bagging the best deal is to participate in a "big fix" but I cannot find any details of when the next one is planned. All my searches only turn up the earlier switches not the up coming ones.
Thanks for your time:)[/FONT]

That was the past. Now the energy prices are rising and the energy companies are not keen on collective deals (or big switch as you call it).
Why aren't they keen? Well it costs them £30 per fuel per customer to get you to switch via the collective switches. That meant £6m last February for the MSE collective deal was paid by E.ON to MSE.
With rising fuel costs, they would rather not waste money trying to get customers in that way.
Look at the big energy switching sites like the Cheap Energy Club, or USwitch or Citizens Advice Bureau and see what is available now. It will cost more than your current deal, it is what it is. Deals are removed on a weekly basis now and always replaced with a more expensive one.
The MSE weekly newsletter is saying that they will know next Wednesday (31st January) if they can run a switch or not. Last time they tried in November, they couldn't get a deal that was better than the tariffs at the switching sites so they didn't offer one.0
