Can I claim money back

Thank you for reading my post.

I recently bought a scuba drysuit in person, off a limited retail shop.
At the time of purchase it seems the retailer put the transaction through PayPal first. This was not told to me.
I left the suit to be altered free of charge as it was slightly too big.
After a broken promise of getting the suit fixed I find shortly afterwards that the company has closed for business and will be entering administration.
I have not received any correspondence from the company regarding my goods and they haven't contacted me to let me know what is happening, although they have released a general statement.
Can I make a claim?
I have read that I may or may not be covered by article 75 unless the type of PayPal account they have would include me.....If not can a charge back be used if I don't get the suit.

Any help appreciated

Thanks in advance.
