Fistral Beach Parking Fine

Over Christmas I parked in the beach car park. It stated the first hour was free. I placed my blue badge in the window. I was 12 minutes late so received a notice through the post. Appealed to them and just got the letter today rejecting my appeal. Is it even worth me appealing through Popla, because if I lose I will have to pay the full amount. Thanks.

yes it is , for 2 main reasons
1) read the BPA CoP clause #13 on the 2 grace periods , one before of say up to 10 minutes , and the one after which is over 10 minutes, so as they monitor time on site and not parking time , you are within the total of the 2 grace periods
other legal arguments will also accompany this popla appeal , so read the NEWBIES sticky thread too , and draft up your popla appeal and let us see it , for critique etc
2) youy BB isnt a qualifier on private land , but the EA2010 is a qualifier, so they have not allowed for "reasonable adjustment" , but popla probably wont allow this particular point as they consider the EA2010 to be a counter claim , but its still valid legally
in future , bear in mind that your BB(and mine) dont allow us to use private land like we would on public roads (read your blue booklet) but the signage and CoP tell you what is and isnt allowed0 -
Dipmissbunny you won't go far wrong following advice on here.
When you win your appeal, could you please take a moment to leave feedback (trip advisor/fb etc) on any services you used at Fistral. Please let them know how you have been treated.Illegitimi non carborundum:)0 -

I've corrected your post for you.
The NEWBIES thread has ready made template PoPLA appeal points for you to use. Grace periods will just be one of many as well as inadequate signage, not the landowner, no standing to bring charges in their own name.I married my cousin.
