I keep my current bread flours in those exact ones, rye, white and wholemeal, all on a kitchen shelf and I love the grippy side for getting them down
and I use the same labels as you islandmaid
Oh I'd forgotten that the flour containers were lock and lock too
Perfect size for whole 1.5 kg bag.
Oh and no labels here, I just scribble in permanent marker on them (it does rub off with elbow grease)0 -
I think I have just been converted. I've got flours and other dry goods in kilner jars but they take up a lot of room and are not efficient storage wise.Books - the original virtual reality.
