Bargain Set of Lock & Lock Boxes

Just a heads up. QVC has a great set of Lock and Lock boxes as their TSV (Today's Special Value).

The coloured lids are nice BUT I'd recommend going for the clear lid option instead as there has been some previous feedback that the coloured ones are less durable.
For the price (given the sizes) it's a bargain.
EDIT... the TSV has now returned to full price but still gives good value.
QVC has a lot of sets here:

I agree - you can get cheaper looky-likey ones but they aren't a patch on the Lock n Locks.:hello:0

I have dozens of lock n lock boxes and tbh that set is excellent value. I keep various flours in the big sizes, in a cold shed. Today I portioned batch stewed home grown cooking apples, for one, so I used the tiny boxes and I have many. My cupboards are like their neat ones, dried fruit, cinnamon, baby figs, cacao nibs etc. All neatly stacked and labelled. In addition, all my dehydrated foods are in lock n locks in the shed and are perfect and have been for four years. Over the years I spent lots of money on them and have recently downsized some to my chidren due to changed circumstances. L n L have done me proud
This is where I got many of my boxes but I also got many from qvc over 7 years ago

We should start a fan club
.
I've got all my bulky dried goods in these:

Big enough for bags of flour, sugar, dried fruit, pasta etc.
I've got them in my eye level cupboard - they fit two high on bottom and top shelves (so four high in total) and then five across... A lot of boxes BUT boy has it saved space and prep times. Had these n the go now for seven years and they're still in perfect order.
It's almost an OCD for me now... If it doesn't move, it's put in a box.

I just wish that when I drop them, the corners didn't break off0

I'm not supposed to be buying things but I'm so tempted! I have 7 or so of these but I also have a collection of take away boxes I'm reusing which are slowly breaking and getting binned. I batch cook and take liquidy lunches to work sometimes which these are great for. I keep my current bread flours in those exact ones, rye, white and wholemeal, all on a kitchen shelf and I love the grippy side for getting them down
and I use the same labels as you islandmaid0 -
D@mn you - You've discovered my weakness!
This last weekend I was bemoaning and getting frustrated by the match the lid game.
Overtime my collection of lunch tubs has become depleted and in need of replenishment - and now you post a link to this!
*sigh*
Ordered...That sounds like a classic case of premature extrapolation.
