Cost of different sized hotal rooms

I have been looking round for rooms in London for a couple of days in the spring and have been targeting Premier Inn. I noticed that the price for all rooms whether single, double of family are all exactly the same. I find this illogical. Surely the larger the room, the more it would cost? Does anyone have an explanation for this?

Location would affect price just as much as room size - if you are in central london (W1, WC, EC) then you would pay a similar amount for a tiny room as you would for a larger room out in zone 2.

Its all the same room!

One person in a double bed OR
Two People in (the same) double bed OR
Two People in (the same) double bed and Two Kids on the (uncomfortable) sofabed.

Put the sofabed up and the floorspace disappears rapidly.

Breakfast is always extra in permier inn, and usually reasonable value compared to many hotels.

Premier inn County Hall is a great location.
Don't overlook the one at the Stratford Olympic park (and shopping) +HS train, if the price is right.
