Goofbid sniper no longer free?

I've just signed up for Gixen, so we'll see how it goes.


I had taken to manual sniping again, after Goofbid started charging.

Moved over to Gixen as soon as Goofbid stated to charge. Used it via it's free service initially and it was OK, but, for the sake of a fiver I paid up - mainly coz it says it makes doubly sure your bid gets submitted.

Bit of a shame as Goofbay was fine for years but if you don't bid very often it seemed a bit too expensive for what it was.

I moved to Gixen as well last year too. Not had any issues. I paid for the full service which compared to Goofbid is very reasonable. I just don't bid enough to justify close to £36 a year in fees.

Most of my goofbid bids have failed this year with the message
Reason for loss: An Unknown issue has occurred.

It worked fine when it was free AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID

I've just justsnipe.com for free for years now. Never let me down.
For my occasional use, 5 free @8sec bids a month is fine.
