Hello I parked on double yellows while I popped in to book my mot my wife was in the car Engine running with a disabled badge on it did not see the signs on the wall but they are there apparently wilco garage watch monitors inside and when someone parks there they run out and take a picture off there victim, next week I got a 85 pound fine . When I went into Wilkos they said I had to pay the fine I asked why didn't they speak to my wife they said we don't do that ! In my mind I was not parked the engine was running and my wife was in the car is there any advice or template to appeal this many thanks Ben

Yes there is a template appeal in the 'NEWBIES PLEASE READ THESE FAQS FIRST' sticky thread you were looking at when you hot 'new thread' on page one of this forum.

It's not a fine. DO NOT say who parked in the appeal, do not write one of your own! Which PPC?

    :)
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:
Home»Motoring»Parking Tickets Fines & Parking - read the NEWBIES THREAD

according to the thread title , the PPC is the notorious FLASHPARK

now read and follow the advice in that NEWBIES sticky thread

I dont think that arguing about the car being "parked" or not will help here, its an argument that comes up time and again , its stopped on private land , for a preiod of time , doesnt matter who is in it or if the engine is running or not, the time it was stopped may be crucial here (grace periods)

the other times asked for above may also help in any appeal or defence (the timeline)
