Hi,
I received a claim form from the county court business centre with Civil Enforcement Ltd as the claimant asking for £322.79.
This is the first i have heard from CEL and have no idea what they are even claiming for..from good old google i have worked out this is for a parking ticket of some kind.
The form particulars sections says 'I will provide the defendant with separate detailed particulars within 14 days after service of the claim form, which has an issue date of 13/01/16.
Spoke with citizens advice who gave me 2 phone numbers for law advice centers, both of which say they ceased offering legal advice since legal aid stopped 5 years ago.
Can anyone offer some good websites or advice as to what i should do?!
Kind regards
I submitted a defense of the total claim however citizens advise have advised to withdraw and seek proper legal advice. Do i withdraw and acknowledge or leave as is?

you should have just ACKNOWLEDGED the claim and then put in your defence later
read the newbies sticky thread near the top of this forum, post #1 , read the court sub-section , which explains how it should all be done , especially read the BARGEPOLE threads linked in there too
so if you have put anything in the defence box , you could be on a hiding to nothing , depending what you wrote
if you left the defence box BLANK, then thats a good thing as it extends the period to 28 days to file a suitable defence0 -

Good website = here. It's free and we win and we help everyone.
We have helped loads of people defend v CEL in 2016 and none even went to a hearing. For example:

Loads more like that. We've never lost one v CEL. Read the NEWBIES thread section headed 'Small Claim?'PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
