just wondering if this is normal, recently moved flats and new bill much higher.
Living in 1 bedroom flat all electric, Currently estimating £1103 which is £91 a month
Put meter reading in today and my real bill for December was £120 which i thought was alot compared to before i moved.
have electric radiators on the wall supposed to be pretty good ones, Don't use barely any hot water. Got till 16th Feb to wait to find out my actual bill
Do you think this is a normal price?

It's been a while since I lived in an all electric flat, but that doesn't sound too far off. I used to pay about the same. 'Good' electric heaters may have easier to use controls, but good or bad all electric heaters are 100% efficient (it all ends up as heat).
If the average is £91 a month you'd expect the winter months to be much higher and the summer months lower to bring the average back down.
As long as they are using readings rather than estimates to bill there shouldn't be any nasty surprises.3.6 kW PV in the Midlands - 9x Sharp 400W black panels - 6x facing SE and 3x facing SW, Solaredge Optimisers and Inverter. 400W Derril Water (one day). Octopus Flux0 -
When you moved into your new flat, you would be on npowers most expensive variable rate tariff.
Did you change onto a better tariff?
You don't need to wait until 16 Feb! You have a meter and you should know how much you are paying per kWh and what the daily standing charge is, so a simple calculation is all that is required.0 -

Yeah we did do this on livechat choose the best tariff, But did they really choose me the best one? Just seems quite a jump in price compared to my previous flat.0

If your annual bill is projected to be £91 per month or £1092 for the whole year, then a £120 bill for a month in Winter is pretty good given that your heating is no doubt on. Bear in mind, two things. One, you will use 70% of your annual projected consumption during the Winter months and, two, a DD payment is only money paid on account. It is not an assessment of your monthly bill.0
