TV bed from Dreams

I purchased TV bed from Dreams 4 years ago and took out their 10 year guarantee. The TV mechanism has developed a fault and is not going up and down. I contacted Dreams today to be advised that the guarantee does not cover the mechanism, it only covers the mattress and bed slats etc. I feel totally let down as I was sure when I bought the bed I was told everything was covered

Depends what cover you bought, they have different levels of cover from just mattress, to bedframe & mattress to TV bedframe & matrress.
The TV one excludes the television and connected electrical devices such as speakers, but includes the mechanisms, docks and connections.

Many thanks. The paperwork states "10 year guarantee DIVAN/
MATTTESS/BEDSTEAD" and that's it?0 -
Well that would lead me to think you got the one that covers just the mattress & bedstead. How much did you pay for the cover?Dwy galon, un dyhead,

it cost £450

I could be wrong, obviously as prices will have changed since you bought the insurance, but the cheapest one which includes the TV mechanism is £49.00 assuming the bed cost less that £499.Dwy galon, un dyhead,
