TV bed from Dreams

I hope this is the right place for this?
I purchased TV bed from Dreams 4 years ago and took out their 10 year guarantee. The TV mechanism has developed a fault and is not going up and down. I contacted Dreams today to be advised that the guarantee does not cover the mechanism, it only covers the mattress and bed slats etc. I feel totally let down as I was sure when I bought the bed I was told everything was coveredn:mad:

Sorry to say this but it is your fault for not explicitly checking when you bough the bed and/or for not reading the guarantee documentation.

With the mechanism being a moving part it would be very hard to guarantee it for so long.
