Electricity Meters

Hi Horace,
Good luck sorting that out, it's a real nightmare when that happends because a builder has marked the tails up wrong that connect to the meter!
Npower won't be "re-applying" for their power, it's not possible. They would just get bils to you to pay. Maybe they mean that? In this circumstance, the supplier will resolve it with you but they won't go into claiming any units consumed back themselves. trust me, it's far to complicated and will cost them more to sort that out anyway so they will either win or lose, but they won't correct their bill to the distributor.
Anyway, thats their problem. I would suggest that you take your readings for the next 7 days to get a daily average of your consumption and also consider what your averages could be in the various seasons because Npower won't be able to see the mixed up consumption if it's through another suppliers meter. So, they will be billing you based on averages, but they won't have any billing data at the moment!:rotfl: It's better to live 1 year as a tiger than a lifetime as a worm...but then, whoever heard of a wormskin rug!!!:rotfl:0
