Cheap weekend break - help wanted

I want to take a friend away (out of the UK) for a weekend in June. I don't care where I go. Can anyone recommend a good site for cheap 3 night breaks?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Rather than deciding on somewhere and then trying to get there, do it in reverse.
Use the flightchecker to see what is available (i've just looked for July, there's loads of cheap flights, am sure June will be the same) then try www.hotelscomparison.com to look for a hotel. Get one with breakfast then stuff yourself, and take some fruit for lunch!
Even big cities such as Rome can be done cheaply, look for where the locals are eating. Or try the tourist menus, plenty food for not too much money.
And use buses rather than taxis - better view & more local colour.
Send us a postcard!A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

How about Dusseldorf. Ryanair fly to "Weeze" cheap. A bus takes you to city centre for 11 Euro E.W
Hotels are cheap at https://www.hotelscomparison.com
Nightlife is excellent. They have a street nicknamed "The worlds Longest Bar"0
