been incredibly warm today. I'm not a lover of hot weather it makes me so irritable
I did today pass the theory test for my LGV so I have been in a good mood I can now take my test. Just need to find a spare £1400
Also looking t my debts I have a vanquish card credit limit £150 I have had this for 13 months and they have never put my limit up. I pay in full every month
I am wondering if I should close this down
I also have two catalogues which I am considering closing off
I know people will say yes but I am concerned that if I do this then in the future hopefully when my situation becomes better I will not get a mortgage because I have no credit. Any advise in the best thing to do will be appreciated.
I do have a contract phone so that is showing on my credit file
Hmm need to have a credit tidy up0 -
Can't help sorry

Oh wow. Two years since I posted. Time really does fly!!!!.
So since my last post, what's happened.. I started a new job in Nov 1017 and I am still there nearly two years on. My ex has finally moved on and is making some other poor life hell but I am with someone new. We have been together 19 months now.
I have taken out a consolidation loan... I might get told off for that. But it has made me feel so much more in control of my finances. The repayment on it is.much less than i was paying for separate credit accounts .
I have 6 defaults due off all before March 2020 so my credit should drastically improve.
My main focus now is getting my house back to myself. Well me and the kids.
My mum moved in with us in March cos she had sold her house and couldn't find one to move in to she finally moved out in june. However my eldest daughters boyfriend moved in beginning of june after his mother kicked him out. He has a flat viewing on tuesday so fingers crossed and as much as a nice lad he is I need my home back. I'm even planning decorating and just getting my home how I need it to be.
I want to get back on track so next year I can focus on having a much needed holiday.
I'm going to try and post more. If only just to vent and write my thoughts down so that I feel like I'm being proactive and to keep me in track0 -
Good luck on your journey. Glad you managed to secure and maintain a job. Adult kids bring their own challenges too so sympathise with that. I loved the advert on tele where they painted the room bright yellow to get the kids to move out..Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
